Elements of Creation Courses
Come home to your creative self
If you believe that you’re not
creative this may be an opportunity to come home to your
creative self, and to help you connect with your inner potential
to experience a more creative life. Alouette Transitions is
offering a creative retreat for the first week in October 2010 at the wonderful
Chateau Colombières sur Orb.
These retreats have dual purpose. They’re designed for people
who may be experiencing change in their lives, maybe a move to a
new country, a new phase of life, or a search for a new
direction. They also focus on our innate creativity. The
workshops are themes around the five basic elements of space,
earth, water, air and fire offering rich metaphors for finding
and unleashing creativity. We use the elements intuitively, as a
starting point to build trust and move away from the fears that
block creativity. They are a means of opening the path of our
own creative expression. On the course there will be moments to
reflect, visualise and meditate, and periods of activity
involving painting, writing, improvisation, singing and
bodywork.
Our venue, Chateau Colombières sur Orb, set in the heart of
beautiful Herault, is the perfect venue for all our creative
retreat courses. This 90-acre estate, at the foot of the Caroux
mountains, has been run by the Martin/Salavin family for more
than 200 years. It is a mix of traditional rustic charm and
tranquility and provides a stunning backdrop that will relax the
body and inspire the soul.
The Chateau is located in the Parc Naturel Regional du Haut
Languedoc and is near to many of the attractions of the south of
France. You will enjoy mountains and lakes, and rivers that are
ideal for swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Nearby are mediaeval
villages, cycle tracks and the famous and historical Canal du
Midi. The Mediterranean is about an hour away by car. This
secluded luxury accommodation may tempt you into booking
yourself in for an extra week after your course. These courses
are open to both French and English speakers. |
